McKay founded Vistay Vacation Rentals in 2021. He lives in Draper, UT, with his family and enjoys spending time outdoors playing golf, soccer, and snowboarding.
McKay purchased a cabin in the mountains of southern Utah, initially for family use, but soon realized the joy it could bring to others. Focused on delivering exceptional service, he is dedicated to helping guests and owners alike enjoy their time in Utah’s beautiful mountains.
Porter joined his neighbor McKay in May of 2023 as he was looking into property management as a way to transition from a 12 year career in operations consulting for healthcare organizations.
Porter has worked for a variety of startups in his career, and enjoys improving processes and helping scale companies to provide increasing value to clients. He also enjoys working on real estate investments, creative finance deals, and private money lending.
Porter loves snowboarding and mountain biking with family and friends.
Favorite vacation: anywhere with mountains or beach :) but if I had to choose one, 5 nights camping at Yosemite with my wife where we hiked half-dome, walked among the giant sequoias, and swam in the icy cold river.
The talented individuals behind our success
Christine from Cebu, Philippines. She spent 9 years in the customer service industry before working for Airbnb. She worked with Airbnb for 18 months as a Resolution 2 ambassador focused on assisting ongoing reservations, reviewing disputes, and processing claims. In 2023 she moved to the Vacation Management Rental field where she worked as a co-host and managed cleanings and maintenance.
Her favorite vacation was to Siargao Island, Philippines and stayed in a native cabin. She enjoyed relaxing and was even cursed with the so-called "Curse of Siargao", which is you either don't want to leave or will pledge to return soon. So if you come to the Philippines, don't forget to visit Siargao.
Meg has been in customer service for more than a decade working with Airbnb as Supervisor for nearly 5 years as well as a co-host for a year.
Meg enjoys arranging travel and tours in the Philippines and on her free time likes to explore the different places in the Philippines with her partner and kids, relishing the different cultures and experiencing how they live.
Mae brings six years of diverse customer service experience to the team, having supported various programs and accounts. Her passion for hospitality led her to the rental industry, where she's spent the past two years gaining valuable experience in the vacation rental market. She's dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring guests feel welcomed and comfortable during their stay. She believes in creating positive interactions and going the extra mile to make sure every guest has a memorable experience.
Outside of work, she's an avid nature enthusiast. She loves exploring new places, especially visiting breathtaking waterfalls and spending time on the beach. These experiences inspire her to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests.
Alyssa has built a professional career in sales for over a year, with additional experience in customer service. She is also a licensed teacher and previously worked in education before deciding to pursue remote opportunities. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and playing badminton with her husband, nephews, and niece. She also has a passion for cooking and loves capturing moments through photography.
Hi - I'm Kai, one of the virtual assistants here in Vistay Vacation Rentals and a traveler at heart. I've always imagined myself in hospitality (and I secretly dream of being a chef).
Exploring new cultures is my passion - I love the stories, flavors, and people I meet along the way. Nature is my reset: when I need to recharge, I head outdoors to camp with my family and actually cook real meals instead of instant ones. lol We have two little ones - a toddler and a teen - and whether we're tucked into a tiny tent or swaying in a hammock, those are the moments we treasure.
When I'm not outside, you'll find me at home with black coffee in my favorite mug, a stack of books waiting to be read, and my cherished vinyl records spinning in the background. I bring the same curiosity, calm, and warmth to my work at Vistay, helping guests plan meaningful and memorable stays.
