Backwoods Bonanza - BIG Cabin with Hot Tub!

We stayed at this beautiful cabin with a very large group of adults and children, and it exceeded all of our expectations! The space was perfect — plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The two separate sitting areas (one upstairs and one downstairs) were a huge plus, giving both the kids and adults their own places to hang out. The master bedrooms were amazing — spacious, beautifully decorated, and each had a luxurious attached bathroom that made our stay feel even more special. The entire house was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed, which made our trip stress-free from start to finish. The location was ideal — easy to get to, peaceful, and surrounded by quiet neighbors. There was a wedding happening two cabins down one night, which ended up being a fun bonus with live music in the background as we enjoyed the firepit in the evening! Overall, this cabin offered everything we hoped for and more. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it

Our Airbnb was well stocked and everything was perfectly labeled in the kitchen. There was lots of space for everyone to spread out. The check in and check out instructions were very clear. I would definitely book again with Vistay.

We had a fantastic stay at Vistay's place. The house was clean, the beds was incredibly comfortable and the location was perfect. Very close was a restaurant if you a planning to have a dinner with friends or family. The host was very responsive and helpful too. Highly recommend this place.

The cabin was beautiful! Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. I would definitely rent here again.

Beautiful cabin right outside of the little town just far enough to be peaceful but close enough to get everything you need without driving super far. Great location even better place to stay it’s huge and very well put together I can’t wait to bring the rest of my family to stay next time very impressed !

Amazing Cabin Getaway! We had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin in Duck Creek, Utah! It was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful nature. The deck views and evenings by the fire pit were perfect. Close to Bryce Canyon and Zion, the location is ideal for exploring. The hosts were great, and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Great place, would stay again!

Communications were clear/helpful, by Vistay! Loved the detailed map with driving instructions to the Cabin and it's electronic lock. Ads, photos, and info were true to the actual large Cabin! A rent refund was mentioned, but most of the rent is not refundable; (small business, not a hotel). Very clean, wonderful extras, (washer & dryer) Bath rooms/kitchen well stocked. Electric heaters in bedrooms. Porch and grounds have good light, easy to use BBQ. Hot Tub is kept warm & ready. Porch chairs for adults/children. Big fire pit. Good Parking. Must drive trash in your car to dispose. Duck Creek Village, not staffed after labor day; college students leave. Dixie National Forest is vast, lots to do, especially on Rt12. The Dixie Forest observatory offers night star viewing through their telescopes. Mammoth Cave has no light and requires crawling out, on a vast deer refuge. National /State Park Rangers work during the winter. All 26 Utah parks are WOW! As is this cabin!

It was perfect for a family gathering.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. We had 11 of us and had enough bedrooms and beds to comfortably sleep all of us. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable. It’s an older cabin and some of the appliances were a little worn down. We were surprised that there was no air conditioning. There are ceiling fans throughout the main area and upstairs bedrooms, but if you run a little hot at night, you may find it difficult to sleep upstairs. We thought for the price that a/c should be standard. Overall, a decent cabin and location.

Fabulous cabin in Duck Creek. There was plenty of space for 12 of us. The hot tub was a hit with the kids and adults. We used the grill which was large and fantastic. The fire pit was in a spacious area and was perfect for camp fire songs.

We loved this property! It was very spacious for a large family gathering with 4 adults, 3 teens, and 2 kids. This was the cleanest air bnb I’ve stayed at and it felt like we were at home. The hot tub was wonderful, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, and really helpful tips on local eating and excursions. Will definitely stay again if we book a trip to the area.

The house is a beautiful mountain cabin. Great location between Bryce and Zion NPs. Duck Creek is a small and pleasant mountain village. There was a maintenance issue with one of the upstairs toilets upon arrival that was not resolved during our five night stay. Maintenance overdue reminders on the hot tub made us question if it was okay to use. Some communications with the host were not answered as timely as expected. There were a number of house rules not disclosed on the listing but were posted inside the house (e.g. no food or drink beyond kitchen area, if hot tub towels used you are responsible for washing and replacing them, and no outdoor shoes could be worn inside).

Me and my family loved this place. The host was super nice and responsive. We will be back again in the summer time. Cabin was 5 min from gas station and restaurants. Not to mention it was super clean and a beautiful cabin.

Unfortunately I had higher expectations with this booking. Upon arrival, the driveway was completely snowed in and we had to shovel it ourselves for parking. I was also upset this listing advertised a fire pit but due to the snow, we were unable to use it. The host does not disclose his late check out/early check in fees ($25 per hour) while every Airbnb I’ve stayed in has never charged. The house was clean and beautiful as was the neighborhood, though it seemed the host was not fully prepared for the winter weather. My conclusion; pretty cabin, but would not stay again.

Worth it !

Our group had a great stay at the cabin! The kitchen has everything you could need and everything is labeled and easy to find. With the village getting hit with snow the day of our arrival it was a relief to see that the drive way of the cabin had been plowed and several shovels were out and ready for us to clear any walkways. The cabins itself is beautiful and we would all stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Very cozy and has plenty of space for our family. If you visit during the winter months, I would recommend having 4x4 and snow chains when going up the mountain like McKay mentions in his post. We would definitely visit again.

Had a great time at McKay’s cabin. Plenty of beds, TV’s, and bathrooms to accommodate our large family. The Hot Tub was a great feature as well. Would rent again as the area is peaceful and beautiful!

The cabin was perfect for our family get together with 11 people. Everything we needed was there from a sharpie to a crockpot. It was extremely clean. The host was very communicative and friendly, gave us thorough instructions and information for the cabin and surrounding area. Such a cute neighborhood/location. Amazing experience! The log cabin is so beautiful and extremely clean, cozy and spacious! The beds are extremely comfortable and all the decoration makes the cabin look like a cabin from a movie. We enjoyed every part of the log cabin, from the huge kitchen, outside grill, the two large TV family rooms to the fire pit! My family and I had an amazing time will definitely come back soon! McKay was an awesome host and will recommend his service 100 percent! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful log cabin!

My family of 10 fit perfectly with room to spare. Showers were piping hot just the way I like it. Kitchen had all the appliances and tools we needed to make breakfast lunch and dinner. We truly enjoyed this trip and the cabin, we are so thankful

Warm and inviting cabin in a beautiful location. Comfortable and clean beds! A lot of space to accommodate our large group. Well stocked with dishes, kitchen needs, towels, etc.

This was a beautiful cabin… so spacious and homey. We loved staying here and would definitely come back again! There were only a few hiccups along the way but McKay responded quickly and was helpful. We will for sure be back next year!

This cabin was in a fantastic location, was very clean, and had everything we needed for cooking. Lots of recreation nearby, and it was easy to drive in and out of. Would love to stay again!

The cabin was great. We loved the layout with the two master suites upstairs and then the bedrooms for the kids downstairs. The kitchen was very well supplied and labeled which made finding everything simple. It was a great location and everyone loved the hot tub (which was nice a big and clean). We will definitely be back!

There’s so much to say about this place I don’t know where to start! Location was stunning, it really felt like a home away from home. The community of people that live here are so sweet and kind. We’d go on jogs/walks often throughout the day and see other neighbors doing the same and greeted us. There was even one day where one of us was having trouble finding the dumpster to take out our trash and a neighbor kindly offered to take it out for us! Cabin itself was even bigger/better than it looks in photos. Very clean and perfectly designed and furnished. We especially enjoyed the comfy beds and spending each night in the basement together, the incredible hot tub, then going outside to the firepit to warm up and stargaze. We were floored at the views! Also loved how everything was labeled inside and had easy to access to what we needed. Hosts communication was so fast and attentive when we needed it. We already can’t wait to come back and make this a yearly fall trip.

Backwoods Bonanza really was a "bonanza" with every reasonable amenity provided, spotless cleanliness, excellent linens, clear instructions, lots of information about local activities and more. A few maintenance issues arose but were responded to and resolved within a reasonable time. I chose Backwoods Bonanza mainly for its location "near" both Bryce and Zion but was thrilled to discover the beautiful attractions within the vicinity itself, like Cedar Breaks National Park and other local hikes. We all especially enjoyed the village of Duck Creek and its welcoming folks everywhere we went - from the General Store and Mitch, the wonderfully helpful owner, to the "family" and delicious food at Aunt Sue's Chalet. We had a cozy fire at the well-stocked fire pit, played a few tunes on the piano (what a surprise!) and would have enjoyed the hot tub if we hadn't run out of days. If only we lived closer than the east coast, we would certainly stay there again.

This is an awesome place I was the host for a all adult cousin reunion, I was nervous because we had no idea what we were getting but my family from Phoenix and New Mexico were so impressed…..loved it!!!

Place is one of the most beautiful cabins in duck creek. Host are as incredible as the property.

McKay's cabin home was more than we could have hoped for. Everything was clean, extremely comfortable and was just perfect for our family of 11 people. The wrap around deck was amazing and having a firepit close to the cabin was especially nice for the family to make smore's and just sit around a fire. The jacuzzi was a super nice touch and was already heated when we got there. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this cabin. We hope to return soon and create many more memories in this beautiful cabin home. Well Done McKay!!
