Runway Cabin Retreat with Private Hot Tub!

Really cool spot. Super nice that they had a bunch of different beds and places to sleep. Truly could sleep 6 without anyone having to share a bed. The sun rooms are awesome. Super clean and close to town. Only problem was they are going to need to get a new BBQ soon.

We loved our stay in Duck Creek! This cabin had everything we needed and more, and the location can’t be beat. We hope to come back and stay here again next year.

The location of this cabin is perfect for those wanting to visit the nearby national parks and many other outdoor attractions. The cabin itself sits along a very quiet and peaceful mountainside. Being able to hear the wind rustle through the trees on any given day was a treat. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

I would give it 5 stars if there were niceties like snacks or actual firewood to use the fireplace. These are bonuses that help guests feel welcome and don't have to pay for every little thing. I would give it 4 stars if I didn't get pet hair all over me after sitting on the furniture, or if part of the $175 cleaning fee didn't make me clean up after myself.

We stayed as a group of three families with kids and we were very happy with our experience. The house is spacious with a cozy atmosphere. We really appreciated that everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided — plenty of dishes, coffee, and trash bags. This house is perfectly located between two national parks, as we wanted to stay in one place but be able to get NPs without long drives.

Great Cabin Stay – We had a really great time at this cabin! The place was super nice, clean, and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. There was plenty of space for all of us, and it’s clearly well taken care of. One thing to note—make sure you bring your own food since there aren’t any stores nearby that are open after 6. The Apple TVs in the cabin made it super easy to watch whatever we wanted, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the timing—check-in isn’t until 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM, which felt pretty short, especially since we only stayed for one night. It might not be a big deal if you’re staying a few days, but for a quick overnight trip, it felt a bit rushed. That said, it’s still a really great spot and we’d definitely consider coming back!

Had a great time and Vistay helped when there were some issues with the place. Overall, was helpful but wished some things were better.

We picked this location primarily because it was an hour away from Zion and Bryce Canyon....good home base. What surprised us was the dark skies...wow! The cabin itself is big, but still cozy...big family room with tv...nice kitchen..and a hot tub. it has everything!

We had a wonderful trip to Duck Creek Village! The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family. We enjoyed a day of snow activities, including sledding, building a snowman, and relaxing in the hot tub while surrounded by snow. One day, we also visited Zion National Park, which was incredible. We made two trips to Cedar City, which was close enough to pick up any items we had forgotten. I would recommend bringing your own firewood and fire starters, as it was delightful to enjoy the fireplace at the end of the night. We did not encounter any issues getting into or out of the area, but you definitely need a 4WD vehicle in snowy conditions. We had such a fantastic trip and would definitely go back again!

My family and I stayed here this past weekend, and we would not recommend it. When we arrived, it was snowing heavily, and the driveway was completely inaccessible due to 3–4 feet of snow. We had no choice but to park on the street and carry all our luggage up to the cabin through deep snow. When we left to explore and returned later, we found that our vehicle had been towed because we couldn’t park in the driveway. Getting it back cost us $780, and the host offered no assistance whatsoever. I’m sure they’ll respond to this claiming they did their part, but I can tell you they absolutely did not. The lack of service and support completely ruined our experience. When booking, we ignored the few bad reviews, assuming they were just isolated experiences—but they were 100% accurate. The place is dirty, old, and not well-maintained. We didn’t mind too much since we were only there for two nights and spent most of our time exploring; however, this place is not worth booking.

We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our sons 15th birthday... We all had a blast.. The cabin is beautiful and perfect for all ages! We really enjoyed being able to walk out to the deck and letting our littles get a little fresh air without getting all muddy... We can't wait to book our next vacation at the runway cabin!

This Cabin was the perfect getaway. Surrounded by beautiful forest trees and a mini landing strip right in front of the home. We had the pleasure of watching a beautiful red plane flying in to land and taking off- this was amazing to watch. The beds and couches were so comfortable. The added touch’s to this Airbnb made it feel so special- such as the record player, board games and the retro feel of the cabin. The host gave us great recommendations and we were able to rent a side by side and enjoy more of Duck Creek. The host was very responsive and flexible with the amount of guests I had with me. Please keep in mind if you have more than 8 guests there is an additional fee for this. Thank you for sharing your space with me and my group of guests. We felt grateful to have made special memories together at your cabin. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking to book! Hot tub was so nice, lots of space for a group of guest and a great host who is on top of everything!

Nice place to stay for the family

This house had so many safely issues. I would not stay again and so glad we didn’t take our kids or dogs. If I knew it was an option, we would have never checked in once we arrived. Soot filled chimney, could not use. Oven did not work. Dishwasher needed repair. Kitchen faucet broken. Exterior stairs unsafe. Deck unsafe with multiple holes. Furniture ripped/broken. Can opener broken. No instruction manual. Stairs to basement not to code/unsafe. Limited kitchen supplies/amenities. Cabin not cleaned thoroughly. Thermostat for entire cabin down in basement. Small water heater. Severely scratched wood floor. Windows were filthy. Missing outlet covers. Curtains that don’t cover windows. Missing light covers. Front door did not open/close properly. Exterior doors didn’t have screens. After wasting hours of our trip communicating all of the issues, the owner has refused to do the right thing and refund our money. Never again.

Beautiful and peaceful place! Great location and amenities. We stayed in duck creek but drove to panguitch lake or Brianhead every day so very convenient. Loved the Hot tub and how there was 2 living rooms great for still having fun while other can sleep peacefully upstairs without being noisy

During our recent family getaway, we stayed at a charming Airbnb that exceeded all our expectations. The Airbnb was a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The host was incredibly welcoming. We created wonderful memories exploring the area together, and returning to such a cozy retreat each evening made our time together even more special. We definitely would will return to this place.

The cabin is very nice, very far from the city. It is now very old. The door locks are broken. The water for bathing is only hot for 5 minutes, so we could hardly bathe. And now the worst of all, just because you leave garbage inside the garbage bags in a place where the person in charge of cleaning can collect it, they want to charge me 200 for the cleaning fee when I had already paid for it.

My family loves this cabin. It was our third year coming to Duck Creek and our second time staying here. It’s cozy, spacious, and has the most gorgeous views. The only downside is how much more they charge compared to two years ago even though nothing has really changed or been updated. We will likely still come back to this cabin next year, as it really does have everything our family needs.

This is an awesome property and host. We’ve come two years in a row and we intend to make it an annual tradition. The cabin is spacious and has a great room for the whole family to congregate, then a downstairs, a loft and bedrooms to separate when needing your space. The deck is awesome and reading rooms are a favorite. This host is the most hospitable of any we’ve encountered. Thanks! We will be back!

The pics looked great , the cabin is older which wasn’t a problem we actually liked the nostalgia of the cabin itself. Our problem was all of the issues with misc doors being broke or out of adjustment to the point they had a plastic bag rapped around the bedroom door to try and help it not get stuck . The sliding glass screen door would fall off the tracks anytime you tried to walk open or close it with out using 2 hands, missing and broken tiles on the counter in the kitchen, dishwasher is not properly mounted in cabinets was afraid to touch it . Hot tub hadn’t been checked on with chemicals and was filthy on top of that to the point it didn’t look safe to get into . Only so many words I can type here . Outside needs a good repair and clean . Spend sometime on cleaning and repair and then I would say it would be a great place with a family . 3 Adults , 5 month old baby and 2 small dogs . reached out to rental company and all they wanted to do was offer a coupon for our next stay .

Got away from the city to a peaceful home for the weekend. The home was clean and provided just about everything, even a speaker for some good jams while grilling. We enjoyed the view and beautiful surroundings while in the jacuzzi after a day of riding. We absolutely loved it all, thank you for sharing your home!

Yo aparte la cabaña para 12 personas básicamente alcanza camas para 6 personas,tuve que llevar un colchón inflable por lo de las camas. Se me hizo elevado el precio de renta para lo que prometía,las fotos no dan crédito es vieja la cabaña a lo que vi en las fotos no me encantó. Por otra parte el jacuzzi estaba bien limpio y caliente el agua,los trates también viejos,en fin el lugar si estaba limpio pero no cumplió para nada con mis expectativas,el anfitrión muy amable y contesta rápido es todo lo que tengo que decir.

Amazing cabin and location! What’s great getaway! Definitely check the weather reports for driving during the winter/early spring season. No issues for our 4wd and Alaska roots but something to keep in mind if you are not used to driving in winter conditions. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and it was a perfect full family getaway!!

Place is great just needs a little TLC. Other wise stay was Great.. appliances and furniture is a little outdated. Needs an update.

We have stayed at this cabin twice and it has been amazing both times. It is quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. This will be our go to cabin when visiting duck creek. McKay is quick to respond when we had questions and always makes sure everything is taken care of.

Overall we had a good experience! Loved the scenery and cute porch swings. Only complaints - kitchen amenities weren’t exactly modern, hot tub wasn’t working, and it could’ve been cleaner.

First off, the communication from this host was better than any other we’ve ever experienced. That being said, I believe in honest feedback to help future guests. There were a number of things that we noticed within minutes of getting there - one of the main doors was broken and didn’t open, the door handle to the sunroom was broken off making it also unusable, the couch was broken, as was the water filter in the fridge, and all of the knobs on the stove. I could go on about other little details, but the place needs some TLC to be considered 5 stars. I’m happy I thought to ask if there was firewood (there is not) so we could come prepared, but I really wish we had known to bring bottled water. However, we really appreciated that the hot tub was hot and ready to go. Zion & Bryce were each about 40 minutes away and Mirror Lake in town was picturesque in the snow. Again, communication with this host is unmatched & they seem very kind!

It was a great place we had a great time and the sauna was amazing we spent all of our time up stairs.

we took our family here for our 2023 Christmas. we have college boys and they had a great time chopping wood, sitting in the hottub ,watching christmas movies, and hanging out down stairs away where they had privacy from us adults. our host was helpful and always responded quickly

Nice location, convenient to both Bryce and Zion National Parks. Good communication with the host. The cabin is in need of updating and TLC. Broken furniture in the living room, outdated and poorly functioning oven and stove, no sharp knives in the kitchen, doors and light fixtures that did not work, non-functioning smoke alarm. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but were left very underwhelmed by the rental for the price paid.

This cabin and the location were absolutely wonderful. ❤️ Everything was labeled, everything you could need was there. The host was super informative and responsive to everything. It was the perfect setup for our 4 dogs 🐕 and the six of us. I’m definitely booking again in the future and for longer. Thank you!!! ❤️ You feel like you are at your families cabin in the woods and I love the check-in guide as it had every piece of information you could need. What would I change? - put covers in the outdoor furniture as it was really dirty and we needed to clean it— or have a leaf blower available - have the cleaners clean the grill outside in addition to the kitchen. - put pillowcases and comforters and sheets downstairs in the mini suite with the pullout couch so you don’t have to go all over the house to find the parts you need to make the bed. - put another thermostat upstairs in the main living area instead of the only way to control the temp being downstairs -coat hooks

It was me and my boyfriend that stayed for one night so it was more than enough space for us. We ended up just staying on the second floor with the loft bed. That was my favorite place to hang out because of the big beautiful windows and the fireplace. It's a place that you can go to to unwind and relax, away from the city (we're from Vegas). I loved the cabin look and my dog loved it too :). If I had to recommend anything I would say it may need updates, such as the second floor door, it's broken and locked, so it made it hard to access the grill but it was fine just walking around, and the slider door screen was warped and didn't shut all the way. Other than those minor things, we really enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend to anyone.

Staying at the Cabin was great and made my bedt friend's bachelor weekend a huge success. McKay was super responsive and helpful, with a great guide of the area.

We had a nice time staying at this cabin. It was in a beautiful location not too close to town, so not really any traffic which was nice. There was an issue with the WiFi on the first day, but the owner was very proactive at getting it fixed. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, but it definitely needs a cleaning. Cabin’s older than it looks in photos, but still nice. Could use some updated towels and other things, but overall we had a good time.

I rarely ever leave reviews for anything and have never left a bad review online. We would have loved it but after paying almost $700 to stay for one night, the hot tub ranged between 96 degrees and 100 degrees and the internet did not work. I spent hours trying to fix it but the owner and management service were less than helpful. It was smaller than expected, but beautiful and serene. There were seven of us and two had to sleep on couches; I have no idea how you would sleep 12 people. The tiny town - Duck Creek - is cool and quaint. We had some yummy pizza from Hot Mama's and Aunt Sue's Chalet was great for breakfast. There were beautiful views not far away at Cedar Breaks and we found some lava caves that my kids loved.

This was such a pleasant & peaceful place to stay during our family vacation. It was located in the most beautiful area with tons of private space to enjoy the outdoors.

Great stay for a 3 day weekend. The view from the front porch is breathtaking!! The kids loved the hot tub after a long day riding in the mud. It’s rained majority of our stay and made the best of things. Washer and Dryer came in great use! McKay responded to all our questions quickly!

The cabin was very accommodating! My baby sis is moving out of state this weekend we had a great time. The spa we didn’t touch absolutely not recommendable.

We went for a weekend getaway and it was amazing. It was in a great location, very private, McKay was so easy to work with and responded in a timely manner. Next time we think about booking a cabin trip we will use him again.

Spent 5 days at this beautiful cabin with family. A great location and it was exactly what we wanted. At night it’s absolutely beautiful. Easy access to go off roading. Everything throughout the home is labeled to make it easy for you. The power did go out for a few hours on our last night. However, we had flashlights to continue on with the night. McKay was quick to respond to a question I had. Thankful we got to make core memories with our family here.

McKay communicated with us proactively to welcome us and be available for questions. There was plenty of room at a large table for family games and the sound system and TV allowed for a great movie night. The jacuzzi was a hit too. Deer came right down into the back yard. The sun room and deck were the best reading spots. The kitchen was stocked and made it easy to cook for my family. Close to Duck Creek Village if we needed anything. The cabin was fantastic and the location cannot be neat for our family. We will return again and again.

McKay is super helpful and communicative; great host. The hot tub had a a filter error and he responded super quick to help get it fixed. Felt very clean inside and it is a very beautiful location. We loved relaxing in the sun rooms. It’s totally out of their control but there was loud construction going on at the place next door. It was only for the Thursday we arrived and they took the rest of the weekend off but I just bring it up in case someone needs a lot of quiet. The only other advice I’d say is that the max amount of people is definitely doable but going to feel tight for space sleeping wise. The only place to really set up air mattresses is in the loft or in the living room. Three bathrooms was really nice though and the baptismal font shower in the basement was a favorite.
