Off-Grid Yurt at Angel Valley Ranch

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, everything about this Airbnb exceeded expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable—exactly as pictured, if not better. The location was perfect: peaceful and private yet close enough to everything we needed. The host was communicative and thoughtful, making check-in and our entire stay seamless. We especially loved how relaxing it was. Can’t recommend this place enough—would 100% stay here again!

It was just what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary weekend. Quite, peaceful, not a soul in sight. Everything worked great no complaints.

The yurt was a wonderful place to stay. It is far up in the mountains, down a long dirt road, past a manually opening ranch gate and down a trail past cabins and then further on until it seems like you are as far away from civilization as you can get. The views are amazing. The yurt itself is comfortable and well appointed. Solar power with a backup generator ensures you have electricity to power the lights and TV and to charge your devices. Satellite internet creates a tiny oasis where you can connect (if you want), but outside there is no cell reception or any other kind of communications available for miles. Propane keeps the refrigerator running, let's you prepare meals on the stovetop, heats the water and warms the air if the night is cold. Or build a fire in the wood stove if you prefer. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks again for everything.

We had a very relaxing weekend in the yurt. Loved how isolated and private the location was. There was a cow blocking our path into the ranch when we arrived and a flock of turkeys walked past the yurt in the morning. Lots of different bird calls!

The yurt was really lovely! Being surrounded by nature and breathing fresh air is exactly what we needed! And we loved how tucked away it is from everything! We’d find creatures such as deer and cows outside the yurt in the mornings. If it wasn’t for the challenges we had with the water heater (very limited capacity and pilot kept turning off), I would’ve surely rated them with 5 stars. Will rent them again next time we plan to be in the area.

2nd time back and definitely won’t be our last! Such a peaceful getaway in a beautiful place. 100% worth it.

This was everything we hoped it would be! Beautiful private surroundings! Wildlife , fishing , hiking, stargazing, great host! Didn’t have one bad moment ! Can’t wait for another stay! Loved it!

This place was pure magic!! Surrounded by aspen it was exactly the respite we needed! It truly was a magical location that had no visible neighbors, was very quiet and just beautiful. The yurt itself was massive...with so many lovely touches to make it warm and comfortable. It truly didn't feel like a yurt...more like a nice hotel room! The deck is where we spent most of our time and my daughter loved the hammock. Truly would recommend this place to anyone interested. Off the beaten path, great to relax and enjoy nature and do so in great comfort!

My husband had originally booked us the john wayne cabin, which is pretty exciting! However, there was a last minute issue with that cabin, so we were upgraded to the yurt. The yurt did not disappoint. We were very impressed. It was beautifully done and very cozy. We loved how the yurt was secluded away, nestled in it's own little private section of the ranch. Waking up, having a cup of coffee and seeing deer only feet away from the yurt was amazing. I only wish we could have used the wood burning stove. Thats okay, we are planning another stay in the fall. :) expect to not want to leave.. we surely didnt want to. Thank you for this awesome romantic spot, we'll be back!

The place was nice and clean and pleasant to stay in. The surrounding area was beautiful and very private. It was difficult to find for us because the road appeared to have ended by the cabins below, so perhaps a sign pointing in the right direction would be helpful.

Definitely the perfect escape in the mountains. Secluded and peaceful vibes. The Yurt was such a beaut! Enjoyed the fire pit outside with plenty of burning wood. Would recommend and stay again! 🙂

This yurt is amazing. Very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4 and in an amazing location. This is what Airbnb is for; unique accommodations in beautiful areas facilitating one of a kind experiences. we especially loved the fire pit, the undeveloped forest location, and the proximity to so many Southern Utah outdoor and hiking spots. We plan to visit the yurt again sometime!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property is as described and very charming. It is a location that is best reached by SUV or better as it is rustic and off grid. Host was responsive and well prepared to handle any issues we had. My only negative was 4pm check in and 10am checkout which is pretty tight and out of the norm IMHO. It is posted on listing so it has no reflection on our actual review.

This Off-Grid Yurt was everything my family and I needed for some R&R before the hustle and bustle of the school year started. It was a little hard to find at first being as our navigation told us to make a left which leads you to a cabin but you will actually want to make a right and follow the path all the way up. The yurt was private and very peaceful, my kids absolutely loved it. It was everything as described and much more. I loved that we were "off-grid" but still had some connection through wifi. We enjoyed reading the little book about the ranch's history and how the yurt came about, it was a very nice touch. At night, the stars were so extremely bright amongst the dark night sky, nothing you'd see in Vegas. The weather was nice and cold at night and in the mornings and then nicely warm during the day but easy to cool down outside. It was perfect for my family of 4. Cant wait to come back.

Our stay at the yurt was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to have somewhere to relax, shower, cook and sleep after exploring the OHV trails on our side by side during the day. The yurt exceeded expectations. It was private, clean, and stocked with the basis to cook. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and linens were clean and smelled amazing. We will definitely be back.

The off grid yurt was exceptional. It was very peaceful and had all the comforts of home. The host was very responsive and gave detailed instructions for the property. We definitely will be staying there again.

Wow….this place is amazing. We truly felt at home and it was very peaceful and relaxing. This property is gorgeous and the owners are so friendly. It is definitely off the grid so if you are looking for solitude and relaxation, this is the place!!! The yurt was very clean and the bedding smelled heavenly. The only negative thing we could say about our stay was how many bees there were on the patio but they left us alone for the most part. We loved that this property is dog friendly and our dog loved it. I would highly recommend staying at one of their rentals on this property! We were very sad we had to leave but we can’t wait to come back.

The property around the yurt was beautiful! The property owners were friendly and kind. We loved the adventures we had during our stay!
