This custom, off-grid yurt is secluded in the mountains of Southern Utah just 25 miles above Zion National Park. After a day in the nearby National Parks, retreat to your own slice of heaven and enjoy the cool evening breeze, amazing views, and wildlife that live there. The yurt was hand built by the owners, with much of the lumber sourced and milled right on the ranch, from trees that were killed by the pine beetle. It is completely off the utility grid and powered by the sun with a green energy solar system that allows for all the comforts of home. The yurt includes: Master bedroom with a king bed Queen pull down murphy bed in the family room Two full beds in the loft and two more roll out pads for kids. 2 sofa sleepers Bathroom with toilet, bidet, spacious shower, plenty of towels and wash cloths. June 2025 5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible stay! From the moment we arrived, everything about this Airbnb exceeded expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable—exactly as pictured, if not better. The location was perfect: peaceful and private yet close enough to everything we needed. The host was communicative and thoughtful, making check-in and our entire stay seamless. We especially loved how relaxing it was. Can’t recommend this place enough—would 100% stay here again!

October 2024 5.00The yurt was a wonderful place to stay. It is far up in the mountains, down a long dirt road, past a manually opening ranch gate and down a trail past cabins and then further on until it seems like you are as far away from civilization as you can get. The views are amazing. The yurt itself is comfortable and well appointed. Solar power with a backup generator ensures you have electricity to power the lights and TV and to charge your devices. Satellite internet creates a tiny oasis where you can connect (if you want), but outside there is no cell reception or any other kind of communications available for miles. Propane keeps the refrigerator running, let's you prepare meals on the stovetop, heats the water and warms the air if the night is cold. Or build a fire in the wood stove if you prefer. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks again for everything.
