Lovely Log Cabin with Fire Pit!

We had a great stay. Cabin was clean and had amazing beds. Out door fire pit was amazing. Host communicated great I would definitely stay again.

I don't think I would change anything about this place! It had everything we needed for a family of 5. Absolutely coming back!!

Don’t listen to the other reviews it was clean quiet and an amazing stay they only issue was the drive up but that would have been the same for any other cabin… I brought my dog and three other people with me everyone was able to enjoy them selves and my dog was able to run around, nothing was “splintering” they had extra linens and towels there were no dirty dishes it was amazing I would definitely add this to a list of recommendations!

Everything was nice. The only problem I had was getting rid of the trash. Trash bins are one mile away from the cabin.

Me and my family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. Definitely we will come back.

Positive: It was easy together there. There was enough room for all of us. There were activities for all age groups and the TVs were great to past time for the kids so we could cook. Negative: I didn’t like that the master bedroom didn’t have a lock on the door.

I being wanting a vacation with snow involved, and this cozy place gives us a that unforgettable snow, relaxing family vacation. The only downside is that I didn't bring enough food to cook and during winter is only one restaurant open close by. But we love the place and the surroundings ❤️

We used a 4-wheel drive vehicle and it definitely would have been impossible in any other car, the drive way was ready and cleared for us when we arrived. The campfire and outside was completely covered with snow, but we were able to clear out the fire pit with the snow shovel provided. Great place!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The location was perfect,and long driveway was perfect for snow play and sledding. The cabin was clean, very inviting, and had everything we needed for a long weekend in the snow.

Some chairs were broken, and we did find some clothing under the bed to the guest…. Other than that we had a good time… super beautiful. I do think it’s important that you tell people there is more than one way up the mountain we spent about 5 hours messing with chains on two cars and still only getting one car up the hill… had we know we could have gone up about a mile the road is very different and easily was able to get the second car up there…

It was very quiet and we were surprised by the snowfall, the children were super excited and the cabin was comfortable, it is a good place to be with family

Duck Village offers a beautiful getaway, but our recent stay revealed several cleanliness and maintenance issues. Upon arrival, the property was dark, lacking an easy way to find the property. Although the cabin was warm, we found numerous concerns. The closet doors were coming off, and the couches felt dirty, with wood pieces sticking out from makeshift repairs. The bunk beds mirrored this state. While the mattresses were clean, they were uncomfortable, leading to poor sleep quality. We encountered long black hair on the shower walls and laundry left in the dryer, prompting us to do our own towel laundry. We also cleaned dishes that had food remnants from previous guests and chose to use paper plates due to the kitchen's condition. Cobwebs were present in the ceiling fan and corner ceilings, indicating neglect. For the significant cleaning fee charged, the property felt inadequately prepared, highlighting the need for better maintenance and cleaning to improve guest experiences.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for such a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was everything we hoped for – cozy, beautiful, and perfectly nestled under a light blanket of snow. It truly made for the perfect getaway. We had an unforgettable time and will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again for hosting us! .

Cabin was perfect for a family of 5 to 8.... Cozy is right.... Clean, Comfy and Lots of Fun!!!

Positive: The house feels warm and inviting. Good for 2 families with kids. Everything works perfect. I personally like the hot shower without limit, especially after been outside for a few hours. Negative: I would like to add some utensils to the kitchen (like spoons), pizza cutter, wine glasses, potatoes masher.

We had an awesome time during our vacation ! Everything was great ! Every question that I had was answered very quickly ! Customer service was excellent. We will definitely be returning again. Thank you so much for everything !

House was perfect and had everything we needed. The towels were a really nice touch, usually rentals have cheap towels and linens. but not this place. Hiked cascade falls, ice cave, mirror lake. Fire pit was a nice touch and the stars were out every night. Will stay again. Thanks for the hospitality.

Great place for anyone looking for something a little bit out of the way but not too far from amenities. My only complaint was that the coffee maker didn’t make the best coffee. Other than that the place was great!!

What an incredible little cabin. It had everything we needed! It was close to town, accommodated our family, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful spot.

Cabin was in a nice location and it was quiet. There were a few things that could be better with the cleanliness of the cabin.

Our stay was excellent, I have always love Duck Creek and great cabin! Positive: Amazing location to everything that is happening and you want to see in the Duck Creek area. Close to trails, creeks, lakes , town and the Lava field. Great size cabin, great fire pit and the property is quiet. Fire pit was great for cooking s’mores and hanging out. The roads were easy to navigate. Negative: Someone before us used the BBQ with briquettes when it was a gas BBQ! It was full of ashes and we couldn’t use it.

Great cabin and location. Perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts and can also enjoy quiet time on the front porch or by the fire pit. The hosts were great and communicated well. We will stay here again!

Muy lindo todo de eso no me quejo, el problema fue que el día que llegamos hubo tormenta invernal por el cual no pudimos subir y tuvimos que pagar hotel para pasar la noche, tratamos de comunicarnos pero no hubo respuesta. Pero la casa muy bonita.

My family and I stayed there. We were from Arizona. I was worried about getting around with them getting snow but the driveway was plowed and the the main streets leading up to house was good. I would recommend 4x4 or awd much easier. The place was just as described. Restaurant was just down the street. We even went to zions national park 55 min drive but with the scenery did t seem that long. Even with snow in the ground we were able to make a fire in the pit and glaze at the stars. I can’t wait to book again and visit during spring. The view from dinning table was of the woods covered in snow. Thank you for having us can’t wait to book it again.

Such a warm and welcoming cabin! Our had a great time playing in the snow around the cabin. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials which made it easy for us to cook our own meals - which was helpful since restaurants were limited. We brought our big dog and kids and we all were comfortable. There were lots of games, toys, puzzles and movies too, which were a nice surprise. A responsive and welcoming host makes us feel so welcome, too! Very proactive and responsive the few times we reached out. One note was that we had a little trouble getting in with the keypad instructions. It took us a couple minutes to figure it out. Great experience!

We only stayed one night, but the cabin was very clean and comfortable. I could see staying there during the summer it’s located in a beautiful spot!

McKay cabin was a secluded peaceful hide away in the duck creek village, beautiful scenery and lots of hiking trails! The cabin was cozy and warmed for our arrival which was lovely walking into from the 30 degree weather 😊 it snowed and we utilized the large fire pit to stay warm while we watched the snow and star gazed. Highly recommend to unplug and rewind

Great location. Very pet friendly. Quiet and secluded. An adventure of a drive from Cedar City- Beautiful views but sometimes a nail bitter, lots of big trucks and sometimes lack of guardrail. I would definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

Enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and beautiful. Nice cabin and front porch. Had to add another family and had no problems doing that. WiFi and washer and dryer were very much appreciated.

Our stay at this cabin was one of the best we have ever had. It was very clean and cozy. Just as described in the pictures. Felt right at home. The beds and couches were comfy. We love how close it was to town, the restaurants and trails. Our host was very friendly and communicative. Made our check in/out easy to follow. Definitely recommend staying at this lovely cabin!
