This cabin was a great place for our large group - bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen was large enough to cook meals in and the living room was great for hanging out. The area is fairly remote off the main highway, but super peaceful!

We were looking for an cosy, quiet, private spot in the mountains where we could get away from the world, but easily access Zion’s and the surrounding national parks. And this was a great fit!

I really enjoyed my stay and this cabin in Duck Village. The cabin was very comfortable and private. We loved sitting on the patio enjoying nature. We even saw multiple deer passing through the back yard. Highly Recommend!

If you’re looking for a place for piece, quiet and nice views, this is the place! It’s conveniently a driving distance between two national parks if you’re there for that as well. I’ll be staying here next time, 10/10!

We enjoyed the cabin. The area was beautiful and snowy. If going in the winter, please review the recommendations from the persons renting out the cabin. They describe the road conditions well.

Lovely place to stay. Positive: The property was beautiful. It’s close to the town and about 40 mins away from Brian Head. Negative: My car did get stuck in the driveway. There was snow and thankfully I have chains for my car. If you’re traveling in winter months chains or winter tires are a MUST.

This cabin was amazing, very cozy secluded, but also close to town. Great location right between Zion and Bryce Canyon national parks. Vistay was an amazing and very responsive host, got snowed in one day and they had a snow plow come through the next morning. I will say, please be careful if you are coming in the winter months, have chains or tires that can handle snow/ice as this place is about a mile from paved roads, so no matter how much they plow, the ground will still have some amount of snow/ice close to the cabin.

very clean and host was great with communicating and making sure everything went smoothly. the kitchen had a lot of amenities and was filled with everything you might need from a can opener to colander. great stay!

I want to first say thank you! Our truck got stuck in the driveway when we got to the cabin. We messaged them and they got someone in to come get us out the next morning. We were super appreciative of this help. The cabin was so cozy for us! Pretty much what we needed for a peaceful couple days with nice views!

Great cabin! Cozy, clean, comfortable. Quiet area, beautiful view, comfortable beds, exactly what we were looking for. The host was extremely responsive even late at night when we arrived.

Family of five and we highly recommend the Woodchuck cabin. The kids are already asking to return. Other reviewers have described the cabin as cozy and it’s the perfect word and it includes all the amenities you could want. We slept well, prepared meals, sat on the back deck and enjoyed all aspects of the cabin right down to the stuffed bears 🧸! We were able to use the cabin as our home base for Bryce Canyon and Mammoth Caves (kids LOVED the caves). We also really enjoyed the seclusion - the back windows and deck faced . . . gorgeous woods with all sorts of critters to watch. We recommend!

Außergewöhliche und hervorregende Unterkunft für Natur und Einsamkeit Liebhaber Positive: Wir waren 4 Personen und fanden ein nettes Ferienhäuschen Mitten im Wald, abgeschieden, in einer tollen Umgebung, unweit von weiteren im Wald versteckten Ferienhäusern. Am liebsten würden wir länger dort verweilen und die Umgebung genießen, wir mussten uns aber an unseren strikten Reiseplan halten (Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP). Wir wurden morgens durch vorbei laufende Rehe begrüßt und konnten zumindest morgens den Kaffee an der Terrasse mit Waldausblick genießen. Das Haus ist liebevoll mit zahlreichen Bären - Akzenten geschmückt, verfügt über ausreichenden Platz für 6 Personen, 2 Badezimmer und allen Möglichen was man braucht, alles hat gepasst. Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause, wie haben es geliebt, es war die Krönung unserer Reise und ist für die, die mehr Ruhe als Hotel bevorzugen und Selbstversorgung nicht scheuen nur wärmstens zu empfehlen, zudem ist der Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in unseren Augen hervorragend. Negative: Ein minimaler schlechter Nachgeschmack hat die wiederholte Anmahnung der strickten Einhaltung der check-out Zeit hinterlassen, dies steht aber in keiner Relation zu den positiven Erlebnissen, damit hatten wir auch kein Problem, da wir ohnehin am Abreisetag aus anderen Gründen unter Zeitdruck standen.

The listing is in a remote town with 3 restaurants down the road. The house is in a secluded dirt road and was a dream for my family

It was like a home away from home. The only thing really needed were groceries. The property provided everything and anything you could think of that you might need for an enjoyable stay.

Private location, well stocked, worked well for three adults. Note: if you're over 6' tall, the ceilings are low in many areas.

We stayed at this amazing cozy cabin for a week and it went by too fast. The place is in a very quiet and beautiful scenery. Cabin also has extra blankets/towels and top of that, it has a full kitchen so it pretty much has everything you’ll need. It also comes with a fire place, a TV with bunch of things to watch on there and board games to play with family/friends. I will say though, it gets hot occasionally in there but outside it’s so refreshing, just open up a few windows/doors and the places freshens up(yes there is screens/mesh to keep pests out). Phenomenal backyard view with a grill and seatings in both front and back. There’s a bunch of things to do such as visit the national parks, explore hike trails, caves, rivers/creeks, ride your bikes or rent ATV’s and the local lake! There are a handful of restaurants and stores + a gas station (we recommend the Country true value store). Duck Creek for us was in the middle of everything, it was so convenient and great weather!

We loved the surrounding area. The beds were comfortable and you are close to the village and amazing pizza. The kitchen was nicely stocked with items needed to cook. There are holes in every screen so you can’t open the house up to air it out. The master bedroom has beautiful picture windows but due to the safety rail there are only two curtains, the entire middle window is open to the back deck making changing or sleeping interesting. The front deck is large, can’t be enjoyed since the patio furniture provided is missing the cushions and unable to use. We reached out to confirm the bbq and fire pit both had propane, after being told they would be filled that unfortunately was not the case. Lastly- the bathroom on the main level is so small you can’t even sit on the toilet without hitting the washer next to you, or your head on the wall. Mold in both showers. Cleaning fee too high for how dirty house was. Not worth price.

We enjoyed our stay at the comfortable cabin! Beds were super cozy and it had great views and privacy.

The place was lovely, well equipped and peaceful. We felt right at home. The view outside the cabin is beautiful and the village is very quiet and nice. We would love to visit again and hopefully stay longer. Definitely recommended !!! :)

Had a great stay at McKay’s cabin, me and my buddies were able to get together one last time before returning to service thanks too our host!! When we return to Duck Creek we will be sure to stay with him again!

great place to stay & great location!

The cabin was amazing, however despite the listing saying there aren’t security cameras around the property, there are audio and video recording cameras right above each of the outdoor seating areas so you won’t be able to have a private conversation without knowing who’s watching and listening. I would’ve appreciated this being in the description as we were looking for a private getaway in the mountains, without having a camera pointed right at us, recording our conversations while enjoying the deck.

My kids and I loved the place as it was right on the edge of the village and we could explore the forest behind the cabin. The cabin came with nice hiking poles to borrow. We were able to cook S'mores with the propane gas fireplace on the back porch (we brought our own roasting sticks) and had a great time.

McKay such an amazing host. He really responsive and helpful. The house have so much amenity pack with all the stuff you need to cook and all the extra towels and linens you need.. cute little home that have an amazing view so beautiful. I Will definitely bring the family back next time .

Great cabin near duck creek! Perfect spot for our off-roading adventure. No ac, but if you open a few windows the place cools off before bed time. Location is great and the host is very responsive and helpful.

McKay’s place was great! We enjoyed the peaceful forest environment as well as many of the activities nearby. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable and cozy. I would definitely stay here again!

We throughly enjoyed this beautiful, clean and newly remodeled home. Super cute decor, and to frequently see the mule deer right outside the master bedroom was awesome! The beds were super comfortable and McKay’s local recommendations were perfect. Especially, Aunt Sue’s restaurant! Highly recommended renting Recreational vehicles from Falcons Nest in Duck Creek. Great location to explore Bryce & Zion National Parks. Strawberry Point is a must see as well.
